Orders Within India

You can request an exchange within 3 days from the date of delivery under the following conditions:

Note:

  • Slight color variations due to photography lighting are not considered defects.

  • Minor weaving irregularities, thread knots, or slubs in handloom sarees are natural characteristics and not considered damages.

Mandatory Parcel Opening Video

To process any exchange request, it is mandatory to provide a clear parcel-opening video capturing the entire unboxing process from start to finish.
Requests without this video will not be considered.

How to Initiate an Exchange
  1. Email us: Send your exchange request to info@taleofthari.com within 3 days of delivery.

  2. Include the following details:

    • Order number

    • Exchange reason

    • Clear photograph(s) of the product, price tag, and original packaging.

  3. Approval: Our support team will review your request and respond within 1–2 business days.

Once approved, ship the product to:

Exchange Conditions
  • The product must be in its original, unused condition, with the price tag (and silk mark tag, if applicable) intact.

  • The saree folding must remain exactly as received.

Shipping & Logistics

  • We will refund the cost of shipping the product back to us (based on your location) along with our handling charges, if applicable.

  • However, we are unable to bear any additional charges beyond this.

  • For orders with free shipping, a nominal exchange logistics cost of β‚Ή75 per item will be charged.

Replacement Timeline

Replacement items will be dispatched within 10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned product.

International Orders (Outside India)

We are happy to announce that we now accept and ship orders outside India.
Currently, returns and exchanges for international orders are not supported, but we will guide you on possible solutions in case of a rare issue.
